Areas will be covered: 2010 TJ Criteria for Semifinalist Standing

1.  2011 Semi Final Pool---minimum GPA 3.0 / Test75

2. Each semifinalist's essays Criteria for scored rubrics are read and scored by two trained readers.

Essays (Average of two) (25%) ---The essays are according to……….Students receive a score between 0 and 5.

Student Information Sheet (20%);

Teacher Recommendations (Average of two) (20%);

Math portion of the Admissions test (20%); and

7th and 8th grade Math and Science Grade Point Average (15%).

 

3. Student-authored information sheet reporting --Impressive/Non-Impressive Activities;

  ** How to write 4 questions that required:

 1). What is your best subject in school? Why?

 

 

2).What are you best at doing (i.e., what is your greatest talent)? Explain your choice.

 3). If you could spend one entire day learning about one topic, what would it be? Why?

 

4.) What one thing about yourself do you believe would make the biggest contribution to the community of learners at TJHSST? (You may wish to consider your personal background, skills, interests, or past experiences in responding.)

评分是:考试作文 (25%); 學生個人資料写作(20%); 教师推荐信(20%);数学考试(20%);

Course Overview: Learn to write Advanced TJ Test Essays in 10 Sessions! 

The class will study, provide a Great deal of Topic with Test Questions Test Essay Writing Tips, Hints, and write descriptive essays, persuasive essays, the personal essays, and school admission essays and narrative essays,. We will also cover how to choose an essay topic, brainstorming techniques, outlining and organization strategies, how to develop a thesis, strategies for convincing, and revising and editing.
Weekly home works Completion are expected.
