Mrs. Hsu Terry Wang, DTM

Mrs. Hsu Terry Wang is the president of the New World Bilingual Institute, President and Executive Producer of New Age Television. She was pointed as the International Education and Culture Consultant for George Mason University (GMU), Advanced Placement Coordinator of College Board. She has been an Administrator, International Motivational Speaker, Trainer and Teacher for over 30 years in the areas of bilingual/multicultural education, cross cultural understanding, leadership and communication. She has trained thousands of professionals, adults and youth nationally and internationally.

 

She has been honored to give keynote speeches, led many seminars and workshops in US and aboard. It included US federal government of US Navy, Army, Marian Corp, National Guard, Capital Hill Senator’s Press Conference, and Washington Post Fall for the Book Opening Session, Smithsonian Institution, State, County, China, and Taiwan Government. She was also invited to speak on various subjects at numerous international/national corporations, organizations, universities, schools, conferences, as well as the television and radio stations such as USA Today Radio, Voice of America. CTC, WNVC, WCTV,

and FPA. She was an on-going guest speaker of "The Youth and Campus", a daily world broadcasting program at Voice of America for last past 5 years.

 

Mrs. Wang produces and hosts the “The New Age Television" which is broadcasting on Fairfax Public Access (FPA) Television Channel 10 and Channel 30 and www.rs63.tv, and Weekly Educational Columnist of American Business Journal, Washington China Post, www.bbschinese.com. and www.chinesedc.com.

 

Furthermore, Mrs. Wang has been recommended from US Library of Congress to initiate and teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) and AB Chinese Program for the Washington International School. She has been teaching and building a solid foundation for Chinese language and cultural at WIS and Fairfax County Public Schools for more than 8 years. She has initiated and assisted GMU to establish the Graduate School of Education Chinese Licensure K-12 for Master Degree Program; AP Chinese Summer Institute, and 1-2-1 International Dual De and internationally.

 

She is a founding member and committee chair of GMU's Diversity Advisory Board, University Life, Leadership Council for The State of Virginia, US National Arboretum Friends of China, the Fairfax County Corporate Extension, and several other community organizations. Mrs. Wang was a Co-Founder of GMU Asian Heritage Month in 1994. She has been serving as a coordinator and Liaison on Federal Asian Pacific Council, Asian Pacific Heritage Council, and Fairfax County the Asian Heritage Month celebration for the ongoing annual events.  She has been contributing her knowledge and skills in working with many other ethnic groups, and bringing the great harmony among the communities.

 

Most Recently, Mrs. Wang has honored as a Most Influential Teacher Award from “Virginia Governor School” and Virginia Commonwealth University (July, 2006), GMU APAH Contribution Award,

Volunteer of the Year Award. She also received

and the 5th Distinguished Toastmasters Award, the highest aware from the Toastmasters International and the special Phoenix Award honors from 1994; Toastmaster of the year at 1996, Pillar of Hope Award at 1998 and over one hundred other prestige awards from Toastmasters International throughout the years.

 

In addition, she was also awarded from US Army, Navy, Marian Corp, National Guard Bureau and other Federal agency, State and County Government, National Audubon Society, International Countries, various Universities, and Organizations, for her leadership excellence and outstanding contribution in Humanity, Education annually through out the decades. Hsu Terry Wang truly believes “No Child left Behind” as well as “No Teacher Left Behind” in diversity/ global/lifelong education. She contributes

her knowledge, skills, time with joy and passion willingly and continuously to home and abroad

as long as her capacity could hold.
